Creative Workshops
Did you know Nice Twice Club offers Creative Workshops?
Nice Twice Club runs creative workshops which aim to create a safe space to listen to community members stories and experiences about living in Hull.
Workshop topics will include:
- What do you like about Hull?
- Where do you go in Hull? What places do you feel welcome?
- Are there places you don’t feel welcome?
These workshops will be creative and we can adapt our creative method to suit the group.
We can come to you! These workshops are often held in community spaces where group are already comfortable in so it creates a safe relaxing environment. We can also book a community space in Hull if a group doesn’t have their own.
Some examples of previous creative activities are -
Washing Line
We write or draw our favourite things about Hull on card and peg it to a washing line! This is such a fun way to see everyone ideas.
Collage
We bring in flyers, posters, photos from the city of Hull, cut them up and stick them together to create a collage of places to visit in Hull.
“Nice Twice Club visited our Got Something to Say art group - community members engaged in a community mapping activity. It was a great activity that encouraged conversations on favourite places and gave us a holistic view of the community members lives” (Jemma, Square Peg).
You tell us!
The best creative ideas come from the group itself, we will always ask what you’d like to do first and you can tell us your creative ideas in exploring your local community!
